Accidents do happen

Laura sighed, "I know..he told me he wouldn't even be able to look at her..I just want him to understand..that I just want to be in her life..Even if we don't really like each other.."

He nodded. "I know, I heard. But I think you have a better chance without me chiming in." He gave a meaningfull look at her.

Laura looked at him and nodded, "Still...stay...please? Due to what if they want to ask you questions?"

He tore his eyes away from her. He sighed in frustration as he wrinkeled his nose in disgust of how she was getting under his skin. "Fine!" He fell into silence as they waited for Adam to arrive.

Adam rushed in. "Laura!!! Are you allright!? I'm sorry, I was in a meeting!!" Adam ran to her side, almost starting to cry. He stopped when he saw the small person in her arms. "I-Is that....?"

Laura frowned when Anthony went back to himself. She just looked back at Lulu, who was sleeping in her arms.

Laura jumped a little when Adam came rushing in the room, she smiled at him, "It's okay..it's okay!" She said softly, before smiling as she looked down at Lulu, "Yes..this is her. Her name is Lulu.." She said as she looked at the little girl.

Adam didn't want to look at the little baby. "Why are you holding it?" He looked Laura in the eyes. "Wasn't he supposed to take it? That was the plan right?"

Anthony looked at the wall, not wanting to say anything. He was offended that his brother would call his daughter an 'it'.

Laura's eyes widened at Adam calling the baby a 'it' after she gave it a gender. She looked at him softly, "It isn't Lulu's fault...and I want to be in her life..She shouldn't grow up without knowing her mother..." She said as she had a serious expression on her face now.

Adam bit his lip. "You want to bring i-..... her.... into our house?"

Anthony turned his attention back to the two.

She nodded, "To take care of her..and then Anthony can take her when he feels it is the right time to take her..." She explained as she looked at him, "It's not her fault for what happened.."

Adam shot a glare at Anthony. "He can take care of her just aswell as you can."

Anthony sighed. "Look Adam, if she wants to be around her child who are you to stop her?"

Laura just looked down...She wanted to be apart of Lulu's life..even if she didn't really like Anthony all that much...She accepted the fact that it was their child..and that this child was just a innocent life that was created in a wrong way...

Anthony looked at Laura. He stood up and took the baby from her arms. "I can take her. You can visit her all you want. I won't stop you. Let Adam get used to her first." Anthony held his daughter in his arms, locking his eyes with Adam.

Laura jumped a little when he took Lulu from her. She looked up at Anthony and nodded as she winced in pain when she moved to get comfortable. Her hand went over her stomach, due to it was where it hurt the most.

Anthony nodded to Laura, slowly walking out of the room.

Adam took Lauras hand. "Are you okay?" He asked conserned. "What about your healing factor?"

Laura gripped Adam's hand, "It...it shut off...in order to protect...Lulu.." She said weakly as she looked up at him. Her other hand went to his chest, "I-I'm sor-!"

"That's the woman!"

Laura's eyes widened as she saw the familiar boy walk into the room.

"That's her Daddy! That's her!"

The man walked in, stopping when he saw the woman, "Are you the woman who pushed my little son out of the way?"

Laura nodded, "Yes..yes I am..." She said as she smiled softly.

The man smiled, "Thank you so much for saving my son. It means a lot..since he is all I got since my wife passed away. So thank you."

Laura's eyes widened as she smiled, "Your welcome..I'm glad to see he is alright."

He gave a sad smile to her. "I don't want to keep you from your child. I just don't want her around me." He took her hand and kissed it.

Adam turned his head, seeing a boy and a man on the door. He smiled. "You saved him? That is so sweet of you." He kissed Lauras cheek.

Laura smiled when Adam kissed her cheek. And went back to talking to the man and the son.

Laura smiled, "I'm so glad..I'm in here instead of that boy..."
