Birth of Lilly Jazz Kinney

Laura laid on the hospital bed, breathing in and out, she was having contractions..And it was hurting, she couldn't believe that she was now having the baby. She gasped as she screamed a little at the pain.

Adam was trying to make her comfortable. "Anything I can do to help?" He asked her softly.

Laura shook her head, "I..I don't know.."

After the time it takes for it to be ready to give birth.

Laura squeezed Adam's hand as she started to push, making her scream out in pain. She breathed when she could, before she started to push again. And then after a couple of more pushes, a baby girl was pushed out. She laid back as she breathed, feeling her tears run down her cheeks.

"Congratulations, it's a Girl."

He held her hand during the birth. Feeling her almost crush his fingers. "You can do it Laura!" He kept encouraging her. When he heard the words from the doctor he smiled widely immediately kissing Laura. "Hear that?!" He asked meaning the baby cry.

Laura looked up at Adam as she smiled at him, hearing their baby's cry. "Mhm.." She gasped, smiling.

The nurse walked to Adam after they cleaned and put their baby girl in a pink blanket, "Congratulations again." She said as she gave him their baby.

Laura looked up at Adam, sitting up a little.

He smiled at Laura, turning his attention to their little girl. He gently moved the blancet out of the babys face so he could see her more. "She is so cute." He moved his finger to her little hands, feeling the girl grab his finger in her hand. "What should we name her?"

Laura smiled as she laughed softly, "She is?" She asked, before thinking, "Lily....Jazz...Kinney?" She asked, wondering if that name was good.

Adam smiled. "Sounds good to me." He kissed Laura. "Are you tired?" He asked conserned.

She kissed him back, "Mhm..but..I want to hold her.." She said weakly, holding out her arms, wanting to hold their baby girl.

He smiled at Laura then at their little girl, handing her to her mother. "Okay mommy wants to see you now."

Laura held the little baby in her hands. She smiled down at her, "She's beautiful.." She said softly.

The little baby suddenly opened her eyes, making a little noise. She looked at the woman looking at him.

"H-hi.." She said softly, smiling, seeing how her eyes were green..

He smiled happily. "She has got your eyes."

Laura smiled down at her little girl, "So beautiful.." She laughed softly, looking up at Adam. Before she looked back down at Lily.

He smiled and took a seat on the edge of the bed. "Yes you are. The both of you." He said softly. "I'm guessing we have to change the nurserys color. From blue to pink I'm guessing." He teased her.

Laura laughed softly, "You heard daddy? He said we are both beautiful." She said softly, smiling as she kissed Lily's forehead. She then looked at Adam, kicking him lightly, "Shut up.." Laura laughed softly.

He chuckeled, feeling her kick. "I'm serious. With butterflys and unicorns. Glitter allover the room." He grined at her.

Laura looked at him, giving him a weird look, "Okay..that just sounds..scary.." She laughed softly. She looked back at Lily, "I still can't believe..we made this life..we made her..and she..she is ours."

He smiled. "Exactly. Sounds miraculous, but it's true." He leaned forward to kiss Lauras forehead. "And what is so scary about unicorns? The horn? Is it too shiny?"

Laura looked up at him, "Your..asking...someone who has wear nothing but, black her whole life..I'm not use to such bright colors.." She laughed softly, before kicking him lightly again. She looked back at Lily.

He smiled softly. "Blue is good. I hear it is very calm color. I doubt she will make us get up in the middle of the night." He joked, gently touching the babys head.

Laura smiled at him, before looking down at their Lily. She went forward and kissed her forehead. She then froze when Lily started to cry, not understanding..

The nurse came in, "She is just hungry. Will you be breastfeeding? If not we shall feed her."

Laura looked up as she shook her head. She then felt a little clingy to her daughter, not wanting to let her go.

The nurse smiled, "It'll only take a few minutes, plus she has to go to where we keep the babies to check if they are healthy." She said as she smiled at the mother.

Laura nodded, giving the nurse Lily. She watched how the nurse walked out of the room. Her eyes softened as she looked back at Adam. She laid back against the bed. Laura was sore from just giving birth. And it was starting to show that she needed rest.

Adam watched Lily being taken away. He turned his attention back to Laura. "You need rest. I think I should go now. I will be back tomorrow." He went to kiss Laura. "Do you want me to bring anything to you?"

"Can you..can you please stay..?" She asked, wanting him to stay.

He smiled to her softly. "Fine, I will stay. But I will leave when you fall asleep. I will come back tomorrow to check on my girls. Maybe I can steal the two of you away then." He said softly to her as he sat on the edge of her bed, taking her hand in his.

Laura smiled at him, holding his hand. She laid there, before yawning. She then slowly started to fall asleep.
