An uncle came to see his niece.

Laura was sitting up and holding Lily in her arms. She smiled down at her, feeling very happy she had given birth to this little life. Her brushed against her cheeks, humming a little lullaby.

Anthony walked in, leaning on the doorway casually. "Cute kid."

Laura froze when she heard Anthony. She held Lily tighter to her, looking at him, "Get out." She said as her eyes narrowed.

Anthony raised an eyebrow. "Why? I'm here to see my niece, deal with it woman." He started to walk closer to the bed, He peeked at Lily.

Laura growled at him, before just looking down at Lily as she knew Adam wanted him to see her probably. Though she wasn't exactly happy to have him in the same room with her..While Adam was away.

Anthony smirked when he heard her growl. "Oh relax woman she is one of my own now, I won't hurt her."

Laura looked up at him, before looking back at Lily and moving her blanket out of her face a little. Showing him what she looked like. Though she kept her eyes on Lily and smiled when she saw her open her eyes.

"What are you naming her?" He asked Laura, seeing her move the blanket from the childs face. The child opened her eyes slightly before making them flutter close again. "She has your eyes."

"Lily Jazz Kinney." She said as her smile was still there. She then looked up at him when he mentioned her eyes, "Yeah." Laura laughed softly, looking back down to Lily. She leaned forward and gave her little girl a kiss on the forehead.

"Can I hold her?" He asked simply.

Laura froze as he asked her that question. She then bit her lip and nodded, "Yeah..just be careful." She said as she gently Lily to him, before helping him hold her better.

He nodded, carefully taking the baby in his arms. "I won't hurt her. Seriously, why do you allways expect the worst from me?" He looked down at the little baby in his arms, rocking her gently.

Laura looked at him with a serious expression, "I don't know..maybe cause you beated me and raped me.." She said, before looking away, "And called me nothing but horrible words.." She then looked back up at Lily.

Anthony rolled his eyes. "And you caused my brother to get hurt. I meant every word." He said giving her a look. "If he had stayed that way, I would have made you suffer more."

Laura glared at him, "Well if I was such a W-H-O-R-E..I wouldn't still be with your brother.." She said, before looking away, "I wouldn't have let him stay that way. And I don't get why you still have a problem with me. I mean look I've given him a daughter. I've protected him with my life at the Shadow World." She said, before looking away, "And yet you still hate me.."

He rolled his eyes. "You want a medal or something? I hate everyone who hurt my brother. Though I admit you are less of a threath I need to worry about."

"I just want respect." She said with a stern voice. She then sighed, "I'm not a threat at all..Why can't you understand that?"

He let Lily play with his finger as he stared at Laura. "You can wish for it all you want, but I am not giving it to you just because you ask for it. What would be the point in that then."

Laura looked at him, before looking away. She was trying to keep her anger down, she was too weak to even fight. She sighed, "Can I have my daughter back?" Laura asked softly, looking back up at him.

He glanced at Laura. "What's the rush? I still want to hold her." He said, rudely to her.

"No rush..I just want to hold her again...Please give my daughter back to me..." She pleaded, wanting to have her daughter.

Anthony was about to reply when he heard someone speak from the door.

"Anthony, do as she says." Adam looked at his brother sternly.

Anthony sighed, and handed Lily to Adam. "Cute kid." He said, going to take a seat by the wall.

Adam nodded to his brother. He kissed Lilys forehead softly and smiled down at her gently before handing her to her mother.

Laura was looking at Anthony until she heard Adam's voice. She turned to look at him, feeling relieved that he came into the room. She immediately smiled as Adam gave her back to her. Laura looked up at him, "Hey.." She whispered, kissing him when he leaned down. She looked down at Lily who was making little noises as her mother held her.

Lily then slowly drifted back into sleep.

"How are you today?" Adam asked sitting down next to her bed.

Laura kept her gaze on Lily, "Scared.." She whispered softly, knowing he knew what she meant.
