We're having a baby..

Laura woke up next to Adam as she was snuggled into him. And when she fully woke up, she suddenly felt nauseated. She got out of the bed and ran to the bathroom. She started to throw up in the toilet. Not knowing she had woken up Adam.

Adam felt her warm body run out of his arms like a frightened sparrow. He stirred and gave atired groan. "mhmLaura?" He asked sitting up on the bed. "You okay?"

Laura heard Adam's voice as she had just finished, "No..I'm throwing up.." She said, before her eyes fell upon the pads...and it slowly hit her about her periods..She remembered how the Shadow World cut off her puberty..due to unknown reasons. Laura slowly looked back, "Um..Adam..I hadn't started my period..it's late." She said, before she started to freak out, "Ooh my goood.."

He was silent for a while, letting it sink in. "What are you saying Laura?!" He had an idea, but needed confirmation.

"I think I'm pregnant, Adam.." She said as she sat there in shock, and was silently freaking out.

He blinked a few times. Getting up from the bed and running to the bathroom. He looked at Laura and hugged her. "That's great Laura!!"

Laura jumped when he suddenly ran in and hugged, "Whoa! Love you too, but go easy on me..still nauseated Adam.." She breathed as she hugged him back.

He laughed happily. "Sorry, just got excited." He said letting go of her. "Do you need anything? I could go ge a test."

"Can you go get a test please..I really don't want this to be food poisoning.." She laughed softly.

Adam got up, looking at the clock. "Okay, I will see if I can find a shop open." He said moving to get dressed. He then returned to the bathroom. He filled a glass of water and gave her a pillow. "Incase you need to spend time here while I'm gone." He flashed her a wide smile and exited the door.

An hour later he came back. "Sorry I took so long, had hard time finding one and then I just decided to wait for the pharmacy to open." He gave her the test.

Laura looked at him and smiled, "Thank you.."

After doing what needed to do for the test.

Laura was pacing back and forth and when it was time to look..It said..

"Oh my god..It's..It's positive, Adam..It's positive!" She said as she smiled at him.

He laughed happily, going to pick her up. "I'm so happy!!" He kissed her, while holding her in his arms.

Laura laughed when he picked up him, kissing him back, before looking at him. She then looked down and smiled at her stomach as she placed a hand on it.

He beamed a smile at her, keeping her in his arms. "You are happy about it right?" He asked, carrying her to the bed and placing her down.

Laura smiled at him, "Of course I'm happy.." She said as she smiled, "Just shocked as well...we..we made a life together..And..it..oh my god.." She said as she laughed softly.

He smiled, placing his hand on her stomach. "Well from all the sex we've been having I am not surprised. Actually one would think you should have become pregnant much earlier." He joked, kissing her cheek.

Laura smiled when he placed his hand on her stomach. Her hand laid over his and then laughed, "I'm glad I got pregnant now..then in that place..image taking care of a kid in that place." She said as she looked at him.

He smiled. "I'm glad. And I'm glad I got a job too. So it will be easier to take care of the baby now." He looked at her softly. "It's hard for a villain to find a legal job."

Laura smiled at him and kissed him softly, "Our child.." She said as she smiled, "Couldn't think of any one else..who would make such a great father.."

He smiled softly to the compliment. "And I couldn't think of a better mother than you." He took her in his lap, laying his head on her shoulder, sighing happily.

Laura laughed softly, hugging him close to her. She looked up at him, "Is it bad..I still can't believe..we are going to have a baby.."

He smiled. "Ofcourse it's not. Takes time to get used to. And we need to work out some stuff before the baby comes." He said hugging her close.

Laura nodded as she smiled, "I'm glad your happy about this, it scared me..knowing my period was late and you probably..being mad.."

He smiled. "Why would I be mad. But now I have to go to work and when I get back, we better start looking for a bigger house to room our growing family. This apartment is too small." He gave her a kiss on the cheek. "See you this afternoon love."
